Brief Description: Brake, forward floor and final drilling
No photos, just continued work on the forward fuselage. I drilled the support bracket for the rudder / brake pedals to the firewall. I need to drill the longerons as well but I am going to wait until the longerons are out of the aircraft. I finished drilling the left side of the fuselage to size. All the rivet holes I had bypassed as I was working on other areas are drilled to size. However, I ran out of 1/8" clecos so the right side of the aircraft will have to wait until next weekend. I also laid out the forward floor stiiffners. I need to order some angle aluminum so I can fabricate the false floor. The engine exhaust sits just under the floor in this area, so I am planning on adding 3/4" of insulation as a sound and heat barrier.
