Worked on the final steps in the pre-assembly phase. This phase (almost completed) is assembling the entire fuselage, drilling everything to size, cutting all of the various access holes and fabricating a number of parts. After all is done, I will take it all apart, debur, dimple, counter-sink and prime until the cows come home. Then I will put it back together and rivet it.
So this session was was dedicated to installing the floor stiffners and bottom skin. The stiffners are not pre-punched so I needed Julie's assistance. She got under the plane, held them in place while I drilled a couple of holes and inserted clecos. After that Julie went to see her mother and I finished drilling all of the remaining holes in the floor and bottom of the plane.
