Brief Description: Priming and sanding fiberglass parts, fairings
I used Rustoleum's 2-part industrial epoxy primer to prime the spinner, leg pants, and empennage fairing after filling the pinholes yesterday. To get a good consistent coverage on the spinner, I clamped my drill in my vice and turned the air pressure WAY down. I stuck a short screw through my original round wood disc (used as a spinner centering piece months back), clamped that to the drill, and stuck the spinner on the disc. With my left hand, I ran the drill slowly to spin the spinner, while spraying the primer with my right hand. NICE even coverage all around.
