Brief Description: Cowling oil door, part 1

I want to finish the inside of the cowling, but first I must fabricate and install the oil door. I bought the hidden-hinge oil door and Camloc hinges from Avery Tools. Instead of using the flimsy fiberglass sheet that came with the Vans kit, I'll fabricate a much beefier door out of sheet alclad.
First I shaped an inner door panel out of 0.063" alclad, cut to fit the size of the cowling door hole. I then positioned, matchdrilled, and cleco'd the door hinge assembly to the cowling frame. Finally, I clamped the 0.063 panel to the hinge assembly positioned inside the door hole, match-drilled, and cleco'd the panel to the hinge plate.
