I leaned over to plug in the shopvac, but didn't pay attention to what might lie directly in front of my skull. I found the fuel tank wing/fuselage bracket, which is bolted to the side of the aircraft. It's steel, flat, and hard! The gash doesn't require stitches, but it reminds me to be careful in my own shop.
