Brief Description: Installing the cowling side camlocs
I got back to the cowling, after having already marked and drilled the rivet holes on June 18th. Today I countersank the rivet holes, then riveted the camloc flanges into place.
I then taped the metal flanges' front and back surfaces, sanded down the cowlings' inner surfaces with 80 grit sandpaper, and painted epoxy onto the inner surfaces. I did this to seal the fiberglass for future white paint.
