Brief Description:  Oil dipstick, footheat scat tubing

While the cowl edge layups dried, I knocked out a couple of small tasks on the engine.

First, I installed the oil dipstick and safety wired it.

Next, I relocated the bottom center part of the footheat scat tube. With the bottom cowl in place, I noticed the scat tube made contact with the inside cowl...not good. I removed the rubber from a large adel clamp and used it to attach the scat tube much higher up on the #3 cylinder exhaust pipe. I then used a heat shield/hose clamp combo to put some air and space between the exhaust pipe and scat tube, hopefully protecting it. This produced about 1 inch space between the tube and the cowling.
