Manual Reference:  Canopy fairing
Brief Description:  Forming the canopy fairing

I used Aeropoxy Light to create the fairing at the juction between the plexiglass and the canopy frame aluminum skin. I used different-colors of electric tape to mark the edge of the Aeropoxy on the plexi: Yellow tape marked the edge, with a 2nd row of yellow tape just outside of the first. I applied blue tape on top of the yellow tape row at the border edge: That way, later, when I sanded the Aeropoxy to shape, if I sanded so far into the blue tape that the yellow tape appeared, I knew I was sanding too far.

The aeropoxy was a bear to mix, but it spread on well and sanded beautifully!
