Brief Description: Installing the heat vent valve part 2
Everything aligned! Final-drill to #12, debur (a lot), install platenuts. Recheck fit. All good...I gooped red RTV onto the vent valve assembly's face and mounted the assembly to the firewall with bolts into the rivets. I was careful to NOT get RTV into the vent valve's moving parts.
After that, Kelli helped me rivet the firewall center recess into place. I used 3M Fire Barrier 2000+ to fill the gaps.
