Brief Description: Mounting shelf for the Vertical Power Pro unit
The image is taking from the firewall center, looking down and aft into the space just forward of the subpanel. The two parallel cross-angles are AA6-.063x3/4x3/4 angle riveted to the bottom of the subpanel-panel ribs. In the space I'll mount the Vertical Power Pro VP-X electrical system control unit. I'll run control cable bundles either beneath the subpanel or through it. Once the aircraft is build, I'll only be able to access it by getting upside down under my back. I'm not worried about it given the VP-X's steller maintenance history.
