Brief Description: Installed the Static system ports
I installed the left and right side static ports, held in place with 4 AN426-AD3 flush rivets each. I first drilled the rivet holes through each port, spaced as exactly as my ruler and I can get them. I then drilled through those holes and the 3/8 in center hole into a square piece of scrap to make a match-drill template for use against the fuselage....one template for each fuselage side. I measured out the drill spot forward of the F708 bulkhead and drilled.
Houston helped me rivet them in place. We back-drilled them: He held the tungsten bucking bar flush against the factory head outside the fuselage, and I ran the gun inside the fuselage.
