The canopy's forward hinge brackets are held in their hinges by two hinge bolts that I can retract with a central T. Turning the T retracts the tie rods, withdraws the hinge bolts, and releases the canopy hinge brackets.
I do not intend to incorporate a canopy jettison capability, for I don't intend to fly with a parachute.
