I cut the glass for the last step to install bulkhead D. 4 layers cut on a 45. The little square is useful to make sure you get to a 45. Another thing I learned was I could use a 1 inch wide ruler and my cardboard template to trace around the outside + 1 inch of glass to overlap the shells. This should go in much cleaner than Bulkhead C.
