I dove into the resin and catalyst world this evening. I promoted 1/2 gallon of my vinyl ester resin with a cobalt mixture and the DMA. I mixed up the first batch and used one drop to much catalyst. It started getting lumpy in 15 minutes. It should be 20-30 minutes. I mixed a second 10 gram batch and put in the proper amount of MEKP catalyst. It was getting lumpy at 20-25 minutes. I think I have this batch down, and I am going to see how it cures up tomorrow. That will be the true test. I also have to thank Kroger for the precision measuring device.
