1. Pinned rudder pedals even with board and clamp. 2. Forced rudder to neutral with boards and clamps. 3. Routed rudder cable through fuselage. 4. Trimmed aileron stop so cable did not rub. 5. Added turnbuckle to stbd rudder control horn per unnumbered dwg. 6. Installed nicopress fittings on rudder pedals. 7. Pulled stbd cable taut and, with turnbuckle all the way open, nicopressed eye to turnbuckle. 8. Repeated 7 for port side. 9. Riveted aft rudder cable fairing on both sides.
Note: None of the bolts holding the turnbuckles and shackles has been cottered, nor have the turnbuckles been tensioned and saftied. The rudder must be removed later for paint, after which proper tensioning, cotter pins, and safety wire will be added.
