Brief Description: Prepared inboard 6ZU1-6 for installation
|
|
1. Drilled out top vertical rivets on wing ribs 8,9, and 10.
2. Punched out rivets.
3. Clamped outboard port channel angle 6ZU1-6 in place, after trimming end.
4. Back drilled through existing mounting holes at wing ribs 8, 9 and 10, with #30 bit for rib 10, and #20 bit for 8 and 9.
5. Back drilled #30 holes through 6ZU1-8.
6. Clecoed and clamped in place.
7. Back drilled top rivet holes through rear spar and 6ZU1-6 outboard.
8. Removed clecoes, and created #40 pilot holes in vertical edge of 6ZU1-6 outboard, using #40 bit.
9. Clecoed 6ZU1-6 back in place, and back drilled vertical holes with #20 bit, clecoing alternate holes.
