I much prefer to do things in nice, clean, logical sequences. Unfrotunately, my schedule, and the availability of tooling isn't letting me do that, so I'm going to skip around a little, in the interest of eventually getting things done.
To add insult to injury, the quick release for the video camera mount is missing, so I can't take photos with me in them for a few days.
1. Drilled out mounting rivets for first two port nose ribs.
2. Removed 1/8 inch from rear of first rib, per 6ZU drawings.
3. Taped mounting angles to ribs, for potential later use.
4. Drilled one rivet hole in reinforcing angle.]
I'm waiting on AD6-15 rivets, and need new 3/16" drill bits, so I'm stopped in this area for now.
