Brief Description:  Installed center-spar fuselage connection mods

Note: Rear wing uprights did not require replacement. They were used as a reference point to insure the correct spar angle was maintained.

1. Positioned center spar, and clecoed through bottom.
2. Clecoed rear wing upright into position.
3. Held spar in position with 2x4 from front of cabin.
4. Established rivet line on new front wing upright, 6ZU2-6.
5. Center punched and drilled with #40 bit.
6. Clamped against center spar with c clamps.
7. Clamped upright doubler 6ZU3-5 against outside of skin.
8. Back drilled and clecoed through front wing upright with #40 bit.
9. Back drilled and clecoed through rear wing upright with #20 bit.
10. Back drilled through top rivet line with #40 bit.
11. Established new rivet line, just below and in line with top rivets.
12. Center punched, drilled with #40 bit, then back drilled with #20 bit.
13. Added additional doubler of .032 stock just below 6ZU3-5.
14. Back drilled through front wing upright into new doubler with #20 bit, and clecoed.

Note: Lower area on outer side needed reinforcement.

15. Removed parts.
16. Deburred, and primed with zinc cromate primer.
17. Reinstalled with clecoes.
