The more I looked at the battery wiring I had installed, the less I liked it. I had re-used some #2 wire left from another aircraft.
1. Cut length of #4 wire to reach from battery positive terminal to master contactor. 2. Stripped ends. 3. Lugged and heat shrinked. 4. Reconnected to battery terminal. 5. Repeated steps 1-4 for battery ground. 6. Connected ground lead to one lug of the external power connector. 7. Cut length of #4 wire to reach from extrernal power connector to master contactor. 8. Stripped ends, one to match lug, the other to match the external power connector. 9. Lugged and heat-shrinked contactor end. 10. Soldered other end to center conductor terminal of extrernal powqer connector. 11. Placed boot on both ends.
The remaining connections to the master contactor will be added after the center spar is reinstalled.
