Brief Description: Provisions for rear position lamp
The wingtip strobes and position lights have rear facing white lights integrated into them. However, when I stood behind the plane, these lamps were not visible. I consider this unacceptable, since someone overtaking the aircraft might not see it until it was too late.
I modified the terminal block supplying power to the strobe units to provide power to a tail lamp, so that it will be switched on when the other position lamps and strobes are activated.
From this point, I ran a new wire to the tail section. I will connect it to the tail lamp at a future date.
