Brief Description: Fixed Illuminated switches & Fuel pump switch

It has become evident that a second electric fuel pump will be required, as the engine has no provision for an engine driven pump. This means that the fuel pump switch needs to be changed to an on (pump 1) - OFF - ON (PUMP 2) arrangement.
1. Removed existing switch.
2. Ran two #16 wires from the engine compartment to the area of the switch.
3. Lugged wires for switch.
4. Moved power lug from old switch to new switch.
5. Lugged the added wires, and connected them to either end of the new switch.
6. Mounted switch in panel, and tagged engine end with wire numbers.
In the process of the above, a previously noted problem with the self-illuminating switches became clearer. Those switches have three lugs, one for earth (ground), one for the load, and one for the source of power. The load and source wires were reversed. In addition, the switches were mounted upside down, so down was "on," and up was "off."
1. Removed and rewired a sample switch, checking for led illumination when the switch was "on."
2. Switch did not illuminate. Replaced switch, and led worked.
3. Replaced four illuminated switches on pilot's side, and inverted each so "on" was up.
