Brief Description: Install arm rest cover
|
|
1. Locate arm rest cover 6B18-2.
2. Trim aft edge to match contour of seat back.
3. Mark rivet line on both flanges.
4. Punch end rivet locations 10mm from either end, and drill with #40 bit.
5. Establish and punch intermediate rivet locations with rivet fan, using pitch= 60mm.
6. Pilot drill intermediate locations with #40 bit.
7. Position on arm rests 6B18-1, and back drill pilot holes with #40 bit, clecoing in place.
8. Mark "L" angle closeout to suitable width for aft end of arm rest cover.
9. Cut "L" angle closeout, and open angle by 30 degrees.
10 Mark rivet line on both flanges.
11. Center punch end rivets, and drill with #40 bit.
12. Uisng the rivet fan, established two intermediate rivet locations on closeout, and center punched.
13. Drill pilot holes with #40 bit.
14. Position on arm rest.
15. Back drill with #40 bit, and cleco.
16. Open all holes just made with #30 bit for A5 rivets.
