For whatever reason, the design did not include inside canopy handles, to allow the canopy to be pulled down into place.
I fabricated a pair of handles from scrap aluminum extrusion. Removing the three rivets closest to the latch on both sides, I used a hole duplicator to create three matching holes in the handles.
The holes were deburred, and the parts cleaned. One coat of primer was shot on the parts, followed by a red clor coat and a clear coat. The parts were then riveted in place.
