Brief Description:  Started cutting pattern for seat covers

I consulted with my wife on the best way to make covers for the aircraft seats. Actually, she pretty much volunteered to do it, and I was quite willing to let her. This is a void area in my knowledge.

1) Ironed sheet from which the pattern will be made.
2) Decided (tentatively) to make the covering in five pieces: face of the seat, sides of the seat, and top and bottom of the seat.
3) Measured dimensions of the face, and cut an oversize piece from the sheet.
4) Traced the side profile of the seat on paper.
5) Traced the paper outline on the sheet twice, and made a pattern for each side.
6) Cut oversize pieces of the sheet for the top and bottom.
7) Traced top and bottom on the material.
8) Cut away excess.
