Brief Description: Built foam seat cushions on passenger side
I'd already cut the foam segments for the cushions on a previous day. Now, the job was to assemble them.
1) Glued velcro attachment strips to canvas backing, and allowed to cure. 2) Positioned canvas on aircraft seat. 3) Taped areas along edge of canvas, so it would not receive adhesive. 4) Sprayed area to recieve bottom (green) foam on seat back with adhesive. 5) Sprayed green foam with adhesive. 6) Allowed to cure until tacky, then installed on canvas backing. 7) Repeated process for first layer of blue foam. 8) Repeated process for lumbar support. 9) Repeated process for second layer of blue foam. 10) Repeated process for pink foam. 11) Repeated process for strips along sides an back of seat. 12) Allowed to cure for 2 days.
