Brief Description: Installed nut plates to fasten bottom fuselage acc
1) For each nut plate: A) Pulled nut plate into position from the top with an AN525-1027 screw. B) Rotated nut plate into position, and drilled one pilot hole with #40 bit. C) Clecoed first hole in nut plate. D) Drilled remaining hole in nut plate. E) Removed nut plate. 2) Check fit of nut plates from the top. 3) Cut clearance area into adjacent angle as required to clear nut plate. 4) Cleaned and de-burred holes. 5) Riveted nut plates in place with A3 rivets. 6) Opened holes in bottom fuselage access door (6B3-8) with #9 bit to clear machine screws. 7) Test installed screws, and corrected discrepencies.
