Brief Description: Attached nose gear leg to wheel fork
1) Located center line on nose gear leg 6G1-1 and wheel fork 6G1-2. 2) Drilled pilot holes for 6 mounting bolts on gear leg with right angle drill and #30 bit. 3) Clamped to wheel fork with "C" clamps, and back drilled mounting holes with right angle drill and #30 bit. 4) Disassembled, and "C" clamped wheel fork to wheel fork doubler 6G1-5. 5) Back drilled mounting holes with #30 bit. 7) Drilled #40 pilot holes on side of fork and doubler; opened to pass AN3 bolts. 8) Bolted fork and doubler together at sides with AN3 bolts. 9) Aligned fork, doubler, and gear with clecoes, and carefully "C" clamped together. 10) Opened 6 mounting holes to pass AN4 bolts. 11) Disassembled. 12) Drilled 1/4 inch holes in end of fork for axle; deburred, and fit checked.
