Brief Description:  More paint gap work

I finished up some of the sanding to get the paint gaps done. I still had not done the gap between the lower cowl and the firewall. I tried to work more after a dental appointment but stopped so the last thing I did tonight was remove the hinges and sand down some bumps on the inside edge of the cowl, this was causing the cowl to sit high in a couple places.

I still need to take a bit more off the bottom but I can take care of that later since the bottom gets fasteners and not a hinge. I am ready I think to epoxy the hinges to the cowl then rivet them on after the epoxy sets up. I was hoping for a bit warmer weather for this work but none in the forecast. I might layout the windscreen fairing and hope for warmer weather. We are should have some nice sun this weekend.

Just about ready to go to the next step which is to epoxy the hinged to the cowl before riveting.

This gap is too large, this was from poor sanding from the original cut.
