Brief Description: 1. Applied clear epoxy to underside of skirt
The new glass layer from yesterday is all set up so today I started on sealing the underside of the skirt with clear epoxy. I am trying a trick I read about where you mix up the epoxy and thin with some acetone, I just put in a splash of acetone and it thins the stuff to almost a liquid state. I used a foam roller and brush to apply the solution. It will take longer to harden but from what I read it will eventually harden up.
NOTE: The next morning it is not tacky anymore but still has a hard rubber feel, sure hope this actually hardens like normal resin!
