Not much done today. I worked on the fit of the wire from the compass to the main EFIS and also some other wire route ideas. The panel came back after being rebuilt and the workmanship was great but it did not fit. It seems the panel was cut from a raw sheet of aluminum and the flange bent at the bottom of the panel was in the wrong place so none of the mounting holes are in the correct locations. I emailed John Stark and once again I will have to send the panel back to be redone. I actually had an extra stock panel so I sent that along for John to use, hopefully third time is the charm, too bad because other than the flange the panel was perfect. I leave on vacation so I should have the new panel back by the time I return.
Panel is perfect except bend at bottom is in the wrong place.
