I was kind of all over the place today. My first task was to prime the step and rivet it on today. Well after consulting with the plans they suggest leaving the step off until after the flap faring is fitted. It would be easier to rivet on the step when I can rotate the fuselage and the top skin is off, but I guess I will wait until after the flap fairing is fitted. The plane should be on the gear by then so it still should not be too tough to rivet the step. I took care of some other odds and ends; I installed the last nut plate for the tail inspection plates and secured the conduit on the left side that goes under the floor.
