Brief Description:  Deburred aft top skin and bulkheads

Well for those who are just reading my log, when building the airplane there is a lot of put together and then taking everything back apart. I have drilled all of the aft top skin holes, now I have to take it off and remove the little burrs that are left behind from the drilling process. This is one of the most tedious parts of building but oddly enough somewhat relaxing. I deburred all of the holes drilled the other day and added the machine countersinks to the seatbelt anchors and fairleads. I will need to dimple countersink the holes in the skin but I like to wait until I have primed the parts before I do the dimples. It makes scuffing to aluminum easier; the dimples tend to really eat up the scotch bright pads. Since the primer is so bad to breathe and smells up the garage I like to collect a bunch of parts before I put on the respirator and do the painting. The filters are only good for about 24 hours once opened and they run about $13 each. So I will move onto the next part which is the instrument panel and the forward top skin and baggage door. That will pretty much be all of the metal parts left until the finish kit arrives. I will place that order on Monday, it should be ready for pick up sometime in early June.
