Brief Description:  Rinished riveting the rudder

I continued with the riveting of the rudder skin to frame. I was able to do all of the riveting of the frame and skin with the pneumatic squeezer. I did need to use two blind rivets which are given as options in the plans. One place was the bottom most trailing edge rivet. It was just too small an area to try and do any kind of offset bucking with the tools I have. The other area is in the R-710 rudder brace; the forward most holes were not reachable with my longeron yoke. I had to drill the hole to #30, and use a counter sink to get the hole just right. It was difficult to keep the counter sink centered. The first side the CS 4-4 rivet sits just a little proud of the skin the other side is perfect. Lesson learned: If I had looked ahead and planned for this blind river I could have drilled and dimpled this hole to size before riveting began!

I tried to roll the leading edge starting with the small section at the top of the rudder, but I will need two good hands for that so the rudder will be put away until I am fully recovered.
