Between spending time with Anita this morning and having a sore back I did not get much done today. The only thing I accomplished was to start to tape off the canopy frame. I first used blue painters tape to tape off a line well set back from the ultimate line. I will use electrical tape to mark the exact location. I did use electrical tape for the curved parts of the frame since it contours better than the painters tap. I will use a colored electrical tape since the primer and adhesive are black. My goal is to get everything prepared then on Monday or Tuesday do the gluing. Then since I am used to working with the Plexiglas I will fit the windscreen, it will not be fully installed until near the very end since I want easy access to the forward fuselage for wiring and control installation, the top skin will be coming off for that access.
