I picked up the metal punch because I learned at Oshkosh that this is how Stein punches holes in the brass pieces that connect to one side of the circuit breakers to for a buss bar. The kit came with various size punches, so I tried the 7/16” one which is the size for CB. I took some scrap .032 and punched a few holes and then test fit some circuit breakers, it does a nice job. I may use this at least for my first row of circuit breakers. I can’t see how I can do all 3 rows since the throat of the punch is not deep enough, even thought this is the “deep throat” punch sold by Harbor Freight. It is a nifty tool and well worth the $20.
