Brief Description:  Wire Pitot Heat

Woke up early and got a few things done before going out for some 4th of July fun. My small AN470 rivets came in the mail yesterday so I installed the nut plates on the bottom of the battery tray. The two long bolts that go through the hold down bar will screw into these nut plates. Next I installed the wires for the pitot heat into the wing. I made a hole in the conduit by heating up a punch I had, it melted thought like butter and makes and nice compact hole. I then wired half of the AMP connector; I still need to get some large heat shrink tube to go over the two wires. My wire stripper just is no good on the tough aviation grade wire insulation. I have one on the way in the mail that is for this type of wire, I will finish up the controller side of the connector after it arrives. I then pulled the 5 wire twisted cable for the autopilot servo in the right wing.
