After the first use of the tube of RTV the stuff sets up and makes the tapered plastic tip the tube come with unusable. I guess I could have cleaned it up with something but I didn't. So when it came time to use RTV a second time I got the idea of using a syringe. We have horses so we keep a supply of these for emergencies. Well you can squeeze the RTV into the syringe and then this make adding the RTV to the bent skins much easier. The only thing I could have used was a larger syringe this one is only 3 cc so it would only do 2-3 blobs of RTV before I would have to refill the syringe. A 10 cc one would be best. Also the syringe is used without the needle in case you wondered.
