After I had everything taken out of the fuselage I noticed these parts (see photo) that are bent. They are side support in the cockpit. There is a cap that goes over the area shown in the photo but I am not sure how it will get riveted. The issue is with both sides, I am worried the part was compressed during installation. Since it is mathced hole this means something was not lined up correctly. Others may have had the same situation, it may just have been bent during storage. Since I picked up the kit I know there was no abuse during the trip down, and it was packed well, nothing that seemed to be hitting the area. I plan to post on the VAF forum to see what other have to say. Also I will call VAN's and ask them there thoughts. The thought of taking yet another kit back is troubling.
