Well I had to return the QB kit I picked up a few weeks earlier. When I started looking at the plans for the fuselage I thought they sent me a really old set, so I called to ask for the newest set. I learned that there are two types of QB kits. One built up from non-matched hole parts and the newest ones built up from matched hole parts. The matched hole technology is what I wanted, I figure that it leaves less chance for me to put a hole where it does not belong. I was told there is an advantage to having the old style, for one the turtle deck skin is already installed but the down side for me is the remaining parts are not matched hole. The entire cockpit construction would be all non-matched and in my estimation leaving too much room for error. The two pictures show a little of the difference. The new style QB has all of the rivnuts installed for the floor panels and that looks like a lot of work saved. The turtle back skin will have to be installed, but it is pre bent, which I am sure will help.
