Brief Description:  Cockpit labels

I worked both from home and at the hangar today. I have the cowl at home to do the glass work needed since the temperature is better in the garage. I laid up 4 layers of fabric over the corners of the cowl, this will become my hinge pin covers. I also worked with the label maker I am going to use to do some of the labels in the plane. I had to get the font and size down to what will work with some cheaper scrap tape.

After arriving at the hangar I started with labeling the control sticks, these turned out very good. I am suing a white letter on clear tape and it has a tougher than normal adhesive so these should stay put. I had used a decal system for my main instrument panel labels and I will do the same for my CB panel but for all the other required labels I am going to use this label maker. It actually does a really nice job.

I had to label the rear throttle, light and power outlet. In the front I labeled the purge valve cable, cabin heat cable and the alternate air cable. I also marked the location of the alternate static source. This pretty much took my day

Take note; put on labels before you install, it would be easier!!
