I can’t believe how nicely this empennage fairing fits from “Fairings-Etc”. I maybe cut 1/8” at the vertical stab and this snuged up the fit at the horizontal stab leading edge. Then it was a matter of drilling the holes and trimming the edges. I am on hold though I need a #36 drill bit, this is the size the hole needs to be to tap it with threads. All of the lower holes are drilled into the longeron and instead of nut plates like most place in the plans this call for threading the holes in the longeron. This is due to the fact that it would be near impossible to install nut plates at this point.
