Brief Description:  Install exhasut and sensor wires

Wow I put in 10 hours today! I worked on mostly getting the exhaust installed but to get there I had to install the fuel pump overflow drain fitting and drill the hole in the firewall flange. I also had to figure out how the oil breather tube would fit, it took a pipe bender to get it into the shape that worked for me. I will final install it when the exhaust I done.

I installed the exhaust and used an EAA idea which is to put a light coat of high temp RTV on the exhaust gaskets, this helps them stay in place and some say reduces the chance of blowing a gasket. I set the torque on the nuts to 180 in lbs, with anti seize on the threads.

Then began the fun part, and that was installing all the CHT and EGT wires. This took a lot of time but it was fun to turn on the EMS and see the temps displayed. You can see in the photo that the #2 and 4 temps are a bit higher than the others; this is because I had a heater blowing on me as I worked that side of the engine. The next morning they all showed the same temp of 56, burr!
