Brief Description: Hooked up Fuel Press, Oil Press and Oil Temp
I began the process of doing the wiring in the engine area today. This entails a lot of temporary ways to hold the wires in bundles to get them organized. The harness from Dynon was a couple feet short for the sensors on the left side of the plane because I ran all the wires up the right side. I bought the same color wires and sued solder splices to extend the wires to reach the sensors. By then end of the day I had the Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature all hooked up and displaying properly on the Engine Management System (EMS).
With the help of a visiting friend, we installed the all metal lock nut that holds the rudder cable anchors to the firewall. The torque was set and marked with torque seal.
