Brief Description:  Fixed flap bottom fit to belly

Put in a long day today. I did the final trimming of the left flap fairing around the step and I very pleased. I then moved onto the flap transition to the belly. The flaps on these things don’t end up flush with the belly and need some work. My left flap needed more that the right. I copied others and just bent the skin up to meet the fuselage. The left side I had to slice the training edge of the flap to make the bend. I filled this with JB weld after the bend was set to stiffen this back up. I figure it will see air loads when the flaps are down and it will look better after it is painted by filling this area. The right flap just needed a little bend in the skin; the trailing edge was not that far off so I did not slice it. There is one triangular area that is not covered by anything; I think most leave this open

I also installed nut plates to secure the pins that hold the flap on..
