Brief Description: 1. Pop riveted lower aft windscreen
I had to sand some but was able to open the canopy after my coating of filler yesterday. After sanding things up to good finish I installed 3 pop rivets an extra reinforcement. I hear there is a tendency to kick the fairing getting out of the plane and I don’t want this to pop off the fuselage side. I did my best to get good adhesion to the aluminum but the pop rivets will just make things more secure.
I had to re-tape the canopy side with 2 layers of electrical tape but I am now ready to do the layup over the top of the windscreen.
