I wanted to get started on the windscreen glass work but decided I needed to fill the gap between the skirt and the side skin. I already made some Styrofoam inserts the other day. Today I shaved then to make a nice curve so the level of the skin meets the level of the skirt. I then laid up a couple layers of cloth. My thought is this will be the aft edge that I will use then laying up the windscreen base. As the base of the windscreen is glassed in I should be able to build up this are to match up with the skirt. Then when the roll bar is done, which overlaps the skirt; it should make a nice smooth transition.
