Brief Description:  1. Secured rear stick cable

I need to start getting things finished up on the inside of the plane before I rivet on the front top skin or boot cowl. I needed to secure the blue cable that contains all the wires from the rear control stick. I could use a double cushion clamp (one around the control column and one to hole the cable but that makes it stand off too far and is heavier than what I came up with.

I took a stainless hose clamp and one of those little plastic tie anchors that you can screw down. With a large head pop rivet (used to attach baffle rubber) and a homemade washer I made with a punch, I riveted the anchor onto the hose clamp. I wrapped the control column with silicone tape to protect it from the sharp edge of the clamp. This seems to work well and does not interference with the stick when moved full right and left, actual movement will be even less with the aileron push tubes hooked up.
