Brief Description:  Coated inside of skirt with resin

Today I rolled on a coat of straight resin on the inside of the skirt, or course after sanding it down. I am basically practicing how to things for a smooth look. I don’t need this nice a finish on the inside of the skirt but I figure this is good practice. I realized after the fact that I could have down a second or third layer before the first one is fully cured. From the looks of things I will need another layer to fill all of the tiny holes.

I used a foam roller to roll on the straight resin, this was a mistake. I will end of with lots of holes from the bubbles the foam roller makes. I am told if you go over it with a hot air gun and warm it a bit the bubbles will come out. I will try to squeegee the next coat on, this was recommended by some guys on www.vansairforce.net.
