My bearing for the purge valve also came in the mail today, I installed the rod end bearing and clamped the cable in place and tested the throw of the purge valve and it works great. I will drill for the clamp and then prime the bracket. I will wait to final install after the baffles are in place since the cable has to pass through the baffle.
Plenty of travel in the cable.
