Brief Description:  Cable lengths

I continued to finish up the mixture control hole. I went out and purchased some 4-40 socket head screws to replace the Phillips screws that come with the eyeball pass through. The stainless Phillips screws are tiny and tend to strip easily so I wanted to go with socket heads, they did not carry the stainless version. I also bought some washers since the socket head are a smaller diameter, this will give it more clamping force.

The last thing I worked on was the mixture control cable length. The shortest one that came in the kit is 55” and is for the prop control and this is too long for the mixture. I need something no more than 48” but 43-45” would be better I think. I will have to see what Van’s carries, I know the web store only shows 48” as the smallest but I have heard they carry a 42” size and then there is always the custom made ones.
